Nutritious meals and snack are an important part of a child's health and well-being. In addition to eating healthy foods each day while in my care, your child is learning how to make healthy food choices in the future. Early childhood is when lifelong habits are formed.
Meals, snack and beverages are to provided to all children at NO additional cost to parents and guardians.
The center serves meals and snacks that follow the requirements established by the USDA
The center participates in a federal child food program which helps to provide funding and guidance to ensure children are served well balanced meals and snacks.
Nutrition is especially important for young children because it is directly linked to all aspects of their growth and development. Nutritional deficiencies can particularly affect brain growth during the first few years of life. Additionally, a well-nourished body is more capable of fighting off illnesses such as colds and flu.
