My family center is set up somewhat like a group center, when you first walk in there are cubbies for each child to put their belongings in (hats, gloves etc.). In the center, the areas of play are somewhat separated. There is an area for Preschool, Science, Dramatic play and Block play as well as a Reading area. In addition, there is a small area for children to use away from the main areas, for more individual quiet play (puzzles, computer learning etc.). The center is in the lower level of my home.

My mission is to provide interactions and experiences that help children develop socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively through a hands- on approach. I provide an environment wherein children have the opportunities to become problem solvers, develop conflict resolution skills and become self-regulated individuals.

Up to 30 hours of childcare - $140.00

Up to 35 hours of childcare - $150.00

Up to 40 hours of childcare - $160.00

Up to 45 hours of childcare - $170.00

Up to 47 hours of childcare - $175..00



It is easier to build up a child, than it is to repair an adult....always remember to choose your words wisely.

About Me



Sheri Johnson - Director/Owner



I have been providing quality child care for over 27 years.

I believe that guidance is about helping children develop the principles, attitudes and skills that they will need to become competent, caring, confident and responsible people. I believe in positive guidance and redirection to more appropriate choices. Through positive guidance, I want to build up a child’s self-control instead of focusing on a potential punishment. I realize we cannot eliminate conflict or disappointment from children’s lives, but my goal is to teach them how to appropriately handle those situations and their feelings. I help children by encouraging them to build social skills and self-control needed for their future. I believe positive child guidance is about establishing a solid foundation for their future and teaching them to self-regulate their behavior.
